The speaker line-up has been unveiled for the Industrialised Construction Conference 2026, bringing together a powerful mix of industry leaders, innovators and policymakers to examine how the sector can move from traditional site-based delivery to a production-led model of construction. Taking place at the RCP, London on 21–22 April, the event will explore the technologies, delivery models and strategic decisions shaping the next phase of the built environment.
Curated with guidance from the Industrialised Construction Advisory Board, the conference will convene senior figures from across design, contracting, manufacturing, government and digital technology. The programme reflects a sector undergoing profound change as advanced manufacturing, digital integration and product-based delivery systems redefine how buildings are designed, produced and assembled.
This year’s agenda will highlight the shift from fragmented, project-by-project delivery towards repeatable systems and industrialised processes. Platform-based design, Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA), kit-of-parts strategies and connected digital workflows will feature prominently, demonstrating how organisations are moving beyond experimentation to scalable, systemised programmes.
Day One: Strategy, Client Leadership and Procurement Reform
Day One sets the strategic tone for the conference, confronting the realities of UK construction productivity and sector performance. The programme explores how client leadership, stronger governance and clearer demand signals are essential to unlocking repeatable, industrialised delivery. Sessions examine how misaligned procurement models continue to limit progress, and what must change to better integrate design, manufacturing and assembly. The conversation then turns to the workforce and culture shifts needed to build scalable delivery capability. In the afternoon, focus moves to achieving low carbon through industrialised methods and learning from international best practice that prioritises certainty, productivity and measurable performance across the construction value chain.
Day Two: Technology, Delivery Models and Digital Workflows
Day Two shifts decisively into delivery, focusing on the technologies, workflows and delivery models required to make industrialised construction perform at scale. The programme explores how integrated project delivery connects design, manufacturing and on-site assembly into a single coordinated system. Sessions examine the growing role of trusted data, digital platforms and data-driven sites in improving decision-making, reducing rework and strengthening performance. Industry leaders from across design, contracting, manufacturing and software share practical experience of deploying industrialised methods in complex projects. The conference closes with a forward-looking discussion on scaling industrialised construction and what the sector must become by 2030.
The confirmed speaker line-up reflects the breadth of the industrialised construction ecosystem. Leaders from major contractors, consultancies, technology firms and public sector programmes will share practical insight into how industrialised methods are being deployed on complex projects. Together, they will explore how the sector can improve productivity, reduce carbon and create delivery models capable of meeting growing demand for housing and infrastructure.
Across two days, delegates will hear keynote presentations from Mark Reynold – Mace/CLC, Mark Farmer (amongst others), case studies and panel discussions addressing the strategic and practical barriers to industrialising construction. A co-located exhibition will showcase the digital tools, manufacturing technologies and supply-chain innovations already transforming the built environment.
With the UK construction sector under increasing pressure to deliver faster, greener and more predictably, the Industrialised Construction Conference is positioning itself as a central forum for the ideas, partnerships and leadership required to accelerate that transition.
