Case Studies
Breifne College: August 2022
Mac Zero delivered this 1,400sqm, two storey building from its production facilities to site in August 2022 for the final stages of the construction programme.
Mac Zero’s focus on early adaptation of net zero design and factory-controlled quality means its design for manufacture process runs concurrently with the grounds work team, reducing programme timeframe and disruption on the client’s site.
Manufactured at its site outside Dungannon, when completed the nZEB (nearly Zero Energy Building) building, which will house multiple classrooms, will deliver an EPC rating of A for energy usage, helping Breifne College ‘move to zero’.
This is the latest delivery in a range of educational projects that Mac Zero helping to Move to Zero.
Inver College
Designed with a blend of cedar-clad alongside an aluminium facade allows this stand-alone expansion to seamlessly blend into the existing site and the planned extension and upgrade works to the existing school.
Scoil Cholmcille
Designed as a new standalone building with separate children and parental access. We created an environment to support special education needs including safe space rooms using wall and floor apex materials.
