This shared vision led to a set of shared objectives.
WHY?
They knew that to unlock the potential of offsite construction, not just for their own teams, but for their talented supply chain partners, and for the wider industry, they had to work together to drive the changes needed across policy and industry culture. These changes are contributing to faster, more cost-efficient, delivery of high quality, sustainable buildings for housing, education, healthcare and more. By advocating for industry-informed changes to grow the pipeline and to upskill sector workers, for the benefit of the Irish economy, we are also championing a future-proofed industry capable of attracting and retaining the next generation of industry talent and innovators.
WHO?
The ‘Why’ is important, but the ‘Who’ of MMC Ireland ensures these critical shared objectives are actually delivered.
In 2024, 150+ individuals across almost 90 member companies hosted events that 700+ of their peers attended.
- 30+ working group sessions, led by experts in their fields, resulted in the creation of an MMC Events calendar for the industry; a member-led Pre-Budget 2025 submission; the publication of the first MMC Ireland Members’ Technical Catalogue; contributions to several key industry reports; and opinion/thought leadership pieces that shaped trade industry headlines across Ireland and the UK
- Digitally, MMC Ireland members have made this growing community one of the strongest and most engaged industry communities in Ireland, with 1.37+ million digital and social impressions in 2024 and 45,000+ visitors to our MMC Ireland portal
Much has been achieved over the past 3 years (officially, 2 years!), but there is still so much to be done…
